1. Lift the car and remove wheels. |

2. Blocks can be checked through a window in a support (it is specified by an arrow). |
3. Measure thickness of frictional slips and if thickness is less specified in subsection 8.1, then replace blocks. |
4. If there are any doubts of rather normal state of slips, then blocks should be removed. |
5. At the same time measure thickness of a disk and check a condition of a surface (irrespective of its thickness). If thickness is less than norm, then replace a disk. Insignificant defects of a surface are removed grinding, replace strongly worn-out disk. |

6. Check a condition of a hose (the place of check is specified by an arrow) and tubes of a hydraulic actuator of brakes. Check reliability of an inhaling of connections, lack of contact with moving parts. Immediately eliminate all found defects. |

7. Remove drums (see subsection 8.6). |

8. Check thickness (A) of frictional slips. If their thickness (or distance to heads of rivets) is less than 1,6 mm, or there are traces of oiling or serious damages, then replace blocks. |
9. Check a condition of springs and the regulator of a gap between blocks and drums. |

10. Check dribble of liquid from the wheel cylinder, having unbent a dustproof cover. At detection of a leak replace the cylinder. |
11. Check a condition of drums. Polish minor defects a skin, if necessary pierce drums. |
12. Establish all removed details and lower the car. Tighten wheel nuts with the set moment. |
