PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the working heated-up engine carefully press the top hose of a radiator and gradually release. At the serviceable pump in a hose the liquid pressure has to be felt.
	2. The control opening for a liquid drain is provided in the pump. At failure of an epiploon of the pump through a control opening cooling liquid follows. To find this opening, it is necessary to illuminate space behind the conducted pump flange, directly under shaft.
3. Wear of bearings can be defined, shaking the pump up and down, and on characteristic howl in a forward part of the engine.
4. Also the sliping drive belt therefore it is possible to draw a wrong conclusion on malfunction of the pump can make a sound, close on a tonality.
5. To exclude a sound from a belt, put with dispersion special structure for automobile belts.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight and merge cooling liquid (see subsection 2.38).
2. Take off all belts of hinged units.
3. On cars till 1992 shoot a video of a natyazhitel of a belt of the conditioner and an arm, and also a bracket of fastening of the generator.
4. Remove a casing of the fan and the fan (see subsection 4.4).
5. Remove a pulley from the pump and disconnect hoses.
	6. Turn off bolts (are specified by shooters) and remove the pump.
	7. Disassemble the pump and replace laying.
8. Carefully clear the demountable plane of a cover of the laying remains.
9. Installation is carried out upside-down.
10. Tighten bolts with the set moment.
