3.1.4. Cover of a head of cylinders

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight (be convinced that radio tape recorder codes are known).
2. On carburetor engines remove the air filter, on injector remove an air inlet hose, the sensor of speed of a stream and the air filter.
3. Designate and disconnect all hoses and wires which can interfere with removal of a cover of a head of cylinders.
4. Turn off bolts of a cover of a head of cylinders, uncover also laying. If the cover does not give in, then displace it blows of the hammer through a soft pro-rate, or carefully open consolidation by the pallet. It is forbidden to separate a cover, inserting the tool between demountable surfaces.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clear the condensed surfaces of a cover and a head of cylinders, remove oil traces. Establish new laying in a cover flute (laying can be not changed if it did not harden and on it there are no damages). Replace a sealant of bolts of a cover.
2. Carefully establish a cover and wrap bolts.
3. Evenly tighten cover bolts with the set moment.
4. Establish other details, start the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.
