11.3. Fusible crossing points
Fusible crossing points are intended for protection of a chain at big current overloads. Crossing points are used in silnotochny chains which cannot be protected a usual safety lock. On the FJ80 cars crossing points of cassette type are established, on the FJ60 and 62 cars solder crossing points are established. Crossing points of cassette type on appearance are similar to safety locks. A part of cassette crossing points in addition fastens the screw. Solder crossing points are not under repair. For replacement of such crossing points execute the following: – disconnect the battery from weight; – cut off a crossing point directly on the socket; – remove isolation from the termination of a wire on a piece about 13 mm; – fix the socket on a crossing point, having pressed out socket pads, and a propayayta connection by solder with a gloss oil vein; – reliably insulate connection by a tape; – connect the battery to weight and check work of this site of a chain. |
