Half shafts are removed for replacement of the bearing, an epiploon or removal of a reducer of the bridge.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car.
2. Remove wheels, disconnect a cable of the emergency brake and remove drums.
3. Merge oil from a reducer.
4. Remove a back cover of a reducer.
5. Rotating reducer gear wheels, install the roller in available situation.
6. Turn off a bolt, get the roller and the dividing plug.
7. Ask the assistant to press a half shaft and get a lock plate from a half shaft flute.
8. Get a half shaft, holding a canopy.
9. Check a condition of the bearing and an epiploon.
10. If it is necessary to replace them, then remove the bearing together with an epiploon a shock stripper with a two-maxillary nozzle.
11. Before installation of a half shaft slightly grease epiploon edges with jellied lubricant.
12. Assembly is carried out upside-down.
13. Delay all fastenings with the set moment.
14. Fill in oil in a reducer.
