Wear of an epiploon is found in the wake of oil on a fork or a flange of the cardan hinge. The epiploon changes without removal of the bridge.


1. Lift the car to hang out wheels.
2. Merge oil from a reducer.
3. Disconnect the driveshaft from a reducer, take aside and fix.
4. Check the wheel provorachivaniye resistance moment, rotating a reducer nut a dynamometer key with a scale in several N. of m. This moment is equal to a preliminary tightness in bearings of the leading shaft of a reducer which should be created at assembly.
5. Record a flange of a reducer and turn off a nut of the leading gear wheel.
6. Designate the provision of a nut and flange.
7. By means of a stripper remove a flange of the leading gear wheel of a reducer.
8. Blows of the hammer displace an epiploon then hook and get an epiploon.
9. Grease epiploon edges with jellied lubricant and accurately press a new epiploon.
10. Grease vents of a shaft and a flange and establish a reducer flange, having combined tags.
11. Wrap a new nut, holding a shaft from a provorachivaniye.
12. Tighten with the minimum set moment specified in subsection 7.4.
13. Turn a reducer shaft on several turns.
14. Measure torque at which the leading gear wheel begins to be turned.
15. The required moment is equal to the preliminary tightness measured before dismantling plus 0,5 N. to m.
16. If the moment appears less demanded, then slightly tighten a reducer nut until the necessary moment is reached.
17. If the moment appears more limit, then it is necessary to sort a reducer and to replace the expansion plug of bearings of the leading shaft of a reducer (it is carried out in car service).


It is forbidden to turn off a nut to weaken a tightness in bearings.

18. Further assembly is carried out upside-down.
19. Attach the driveshaft, having oriented on tags, fill in oil.
