10.9. Latch of a cowl and cable of the drive

Removal and installation


1. Outline a contour of a latch and turn off fastening bolts to a front cross-piece. Remove a latch.
2. Disconnect a cable from a latch.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down.


1. Disconnect a latch drive cable.
2. Attach a piece of a strong wire to a cable and following on the route of laying of a cable, disconnect the latches fixing a cable cover to a body.
3. In salon unscrew fastening screws (are specified by shooters) cowl latch drive cable handles.
4. Get a cable, having extended it together with a sealant in salon until the wire seems. Remove an old cable and attach to a wire a new cable together with a sealant.
5. Stretch a cable in a motor compartment, having undertaken a wire.
6. Installation is carried out upside-down. Establish a through sealant, having pressed on it fingers so that it came into an opening of a partition of a motor compartment.
