2.28. Replacement of spark plugs

GENERAL INFORMATION

Set of tools for replacement of spark plugs

1. Candle face key
2. Dynamometer key
3. Graggers
4. Adapter
5. A set of calibers for check of a gap between candle electrodes

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Prepare tools and devices. When replacing candles it is necessary to get new candles of the recommended type, to expose a gap and to screw instead of old, replacing each candle separately.
2. Check a condition of new candles. At detection of any signs of damages of the insulator I shine it is impossible to establish.
3. Check a gap between electrodes of new candles in caliber of round section. The gap between electrodes has to correspond specified in the podkapotny plate.
4. If the gap does not meet standard, then turn in an electrode by means of the lever on the case of set of calibers.
5. If the side electrode does not coincide with central, then turn in the lever on the case of set of calibers before combination of both electrodes on the center of a candle.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On the engine 1FZ-FE for access to candles remove a slip (a photo at the left). Turn a tip half way, at the same time making the effort directed up, and get a wire (a photo on the right).
2. Blow the place pump around a candle, having removed dirt.
3. Turn out a candle a key with the extender.
4. Irrespective of whether the candle will change or to be wrapped old, check a condition of a candle.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before a wraparound of a candle it is into place recommended to grease a carving with structure against a holding strap.
2. To wrap a candle without distortions dress on a candle a hose piece with an internal diameter of 9,5 mm. As soon as the candle begins to be wrapped with a distortion, the hose will begin to be scrolled on the insulator owing to what damage of a carving is prevented.
3. Tighten a candle with the set moment.
4. Establish a tip, having turned half way and having at the same time made the effort directed down.
5. In a similar order replace other candles.
