8.4. Brake support

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At serious damages (for example, at liquid dribble) the support is recommended to be replaced. Supports change in couple on one axis.

The procedure described below is applicable both to 4-cylinder, and to 1-cylinder supports (these operations are stipulated especially) for lobbies and for back brakes.

Removal, dismantling and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn off a bolt of the union and disconnect a brake hose.
	2. Muffle a hose, having closed union openings a piece of a rubber hose.
	3. Slightly drown pistons, turn off fastening bolts (are specified by shooters) and remove a support (see subitem 6-22 of subsection 8.3).
	4. Remove a ring of fastening of a cover and a cover of the piston.
	5. Carefully remove pistons with compressed air.
	6. On 4-cylinder supports turn off coupling bolts (are specified by shooters).
	7. Remove epiploons.
8. Examine pistons and the surface of cylinders.
9. At detection of damages of a surface (a rust, hollows, scratches, etc.) replace a support and the piston.
	10. If a surface in satisfactory condition, then get a sealing ring plastic tweezers.
	11. On a single-cylinder support beat out from an arm of the plug and remove dustproof covers.
	12. Wash out all details pure brake fluid.
13. Establish rubber rings of pistons and pistons in a support, having dipped them into brake fluid. The piston has to come without distortion under the influence of moderate effort.
14. Establish covers of pistons and blooming rings.
15. On 4-cylinder supports insert epiploons into openings, having dipped them into brake fluid, tighten coupling bolts of half of a support with the set moment.
Prevention At assembly of half track that epiploons did not drop out of openings.
16. On a single-cylinder support grease fingers, plugs and openings in an arm with silicone lubricant.
17. Establish covers.
18. Establish a support upside-down.
19. Replace copper laying of the union of a brake hose (are delivered in a remkomplekta).
20. Remove air from a hydraulic actuator.
21. Before the first departure check work of brakes.
