9.2. Stabilizer of a forward suspension bracket and plugs

1. Lift a car front.
2. Remove drafts of the stabilizer. On the FJ60, 62 cars remember an assembly order of details of drafts of the stabilizer – plates and plugs.
3. For removal of drafts it is enough to turn out bolts from arms.
4. Turn off bolts of collars of plugs and remove the stabilizer.
5. Remove plugs of the stabilizer and check their condition of plugs. Replace the damaged plugs (cracks, rubber hardening, etc. signs). If necessary replace plugs of drafts of the stabilizer.

1. Install new plugs.
2. Insert plugs into collars and install the stabilizer. Do not tighten bolts.
3. Establish drafts and tighten nuts with the set moment.
4. Tighten stabilizer bolts with the set moment.
