Electronic ignition the ignition lock, the battery, the block of electronic ignition, Hall's sensor (1980-87) or the induction sensor (since 1988), the coil of ignition, wire of low-voltage (primary) chain and high-voltage (secondary) chain, the distributor of ignition and candle log in.

On cars since 1988 management of work of system of ignition is provided or the separate processor block (ECU - the block), or the processor block of the ECM engine.

The processor block provides automatic adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition according to signals from sensors which trace various parameters of the engine (such as speed, volume of the sucked-in air, temperature of cooling liquid, etc.). Such system is called system of ignition with electronic control the ignition moment (ESA system).

On the considered cars the coil of ignition is mounted separately from the distributor.

Cars of 1980-87 are equipped centrifugal and vacuum with ignition advancing regulators. The electronic switchboard of ignition is mounted on the coil case. The sensor of signals on Hall's effect is built in the distributor on a plate of the breaker with which the rod of the vacuum regulator (see rice is rigidly connected. Scheme of ignition of cars of 1980-87).

Cars of 1988-92 are equipped with automatic system of an advancing of ignition of ESA on the basis of the induction sensor (see rice. Scheme of ignition of cars of 1988-92). The electronic switchboard of ignition is mounted on the coil case.

The system of ignition of cars since 1993 is similar to system of cars of 1988-92 behind that exception that the additional winding with couple of conclusions of G1 and G2 (see rice is provided in the induction sensor. Scheme of ignition of cars of 1993).

When performing checks and repair of system of ignition it is necessary to follow the following safety rules (except stated above).

Connect a tachometer according to the instruction of the manufacturer. Tachometers of some types are incompatible with system of electric equipment of the car. Before acquisition of a tachometer consult in car service.

Do not allow a contact of conclusions of the coil of ignition with a weight. Otherwise failure of the electronic block and coil is possible.

Constantly you watch that the electronic block was reliably connected to weight.
