Orientation of a holder and guide of the CV JOINT at assembly

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a nave.
2. Remove bearings of a forward wheel (see subsection 2.39).
3. Turn off bolts of fastening and remove a brake board.
4. If forward brakes drum, then remove a brake assembled, take aside and fix, without allowing sagging on a hose.
5. Blows of the soft hammer separate a pin from a rotary fist.
6. Remove a pin.
7. Disconnect the socket (it is specified by an arrow) and remove the speed sensor (on cars with anti-blocking system).
8. Turn a half shaft so that the lyska on the case of the CV JOINT was turned up.
9. Carefully, not to damage an epiploon, get a half shaft.
10. If necessary get an epiploon (it is specified by an arrow) by means of a shock stripper.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clamp a half shaft in a vice through soft laying.
2. Beat out the CV JOINT with an external axis blows to a brass mandrel.
3. Incline an internal holder and on one get hinge balls.
4. Get a holder assembled from an internal guide from the CV JOINT case for what turn a holder of balls on 90 ° and combine windows in a holder with dredging in the case.
5. Get an internal guide from a holder for what orient these details.
6. Clear the CV JOINT of lubricant and examine. Replace the damaged details.
7. At assembly grease the internal surfaces of the CV JOINT and an external shaft with molybdenic lubricant.
8. Insert a guide into a holder upside-down.
9. Orient the acting part of the holder directing towards wider part (see rice. Orientation of a holder and guide of the CV JOINT at assembly).
10. Establish a holder and a guide on a half shaft shaft.

Prevention

At assembly the acting part of a guide and wider part of a holder have to be turned outside.


11. Establish new lock rings on an internal shaft.
12. Clamp a half shaft in a vice and establish an external shaft, having fixed by a lock ring.
13. Be convinced of durability of fastening of external and internal sections of a half shaft in the CV JOINT.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a new epiploon (if necessary) and grease vents of an internal shaft.
2. Holding a shaft to a canopy, carefully insert it into differential.
3. Further installation is carried out upside-down.
