GENERAL INFORMATION

Wear of coupling

1. Normal wear of petals

2. The increased wear of petals

3. Breakage or deformation of petals of a spring

Prevention

Delete dust from wear of slips with a special cleaner. Use of gasoline or solvent is not allowed.

Removal

At the description of procedures it is meant that works are performed without removal of the engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the main cylinder.
2. You will hang out the engine and remove transmission. If the engine is propped up from below, then keep in mind that the oil receiver is located near the pallet and at deformation of the pallet access of oil to the engine can be blocked.
3. Record coupling, having inserted a mandrel.
4. Find adjusting tags (a letter of X or O), at their absence designate the provision of coupling on a flywheel.
5. Gradually, for 1/2 turns for reception, evenly release 6 bolts, turn off bolts and remove coupling.

Check

As a rule replacement is demanded by only a frictional disk. Nevertheless it is necessary to examine a condition of all details.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of a flywheel.
2. It is recommended to remove a flywheel and to proshlifovat irrespective of a condition of a surface.
3. Check a condition of the directing bearing.
4. Check a condition of a surface of frictional slips, measure distance to heads of rivets of a disk which has to be not less than 0,8 mm.
5. Check a condition of springs, weakening of rivets, existence of other signs of damages.
6. It is recommended to replace a disk irrespective of its state.
7. Together with a frictional disk as a rule also the release bearing changes.
8. Check a condition of a surface of a press disk.
9. Check a condition of a diaphragm spring and petals of a spring (see rice. Wear of coupling).
10. Small defects of a disk can be polished a skin, at major defects replace coupling.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clear a flywheel and coupling.
2. Establish coupling, having combined tags, and wrap bolts by hand.
3. Center a disk by means of a mandrel which has to enter the directing bearing, gradually and evenly, in a cross order, tighten coupling bolts.
4. Grease a flute of the release bearing, the rubbing surfaces of a fork and a vent of a main shaft of the check point with refractory lubricant.
5. Install the bearing.
6. Establish transmission.
7. Delay all fastenings with the set moment.
