5.1.3.1. Cleaning and repair of the fuel tank

GENERAL INFORMATION

Any repair of the fuel tank or jellied mouth of a tank has to be carried out by the qualified personnel having experience in the organization and carrying out such works.

If the tank is removed from the car, then it should not be placed in those places in which sparks or an open flame can cause ignition of the evaporations which are coming out a tank.
