PERFORMANCE ORDER

Prevention

Previously check a condition of fuel hoses and tubes. You watch fuel consumption. If the expense considerably exceeds norm, then damage of a diaphragm of the pump can be the cause. In this case the level of oil can exceed norm, and from oil the gasoline smell can extend.

1. Disconnect a fuel pipe from the carburetor and insert a tee with the manometer.
2. Start the engine and check pressure of fuel which has to be within 0,18–0,6 atm.
3. After an engine stop pressure has to decrease slowly.
4. If the engine is not started, then rotate a starter before emergence of indications of the manometer.
5. If pressure falls quickly, then the final valve of the pump is faulty and the pump should be replaced.
6. If pressure is too big, then check purity of an air vent of the pump.
7. If pressure too low, then replace the pump, previously having checked purity of hoses and absence their perezhatiya.
