3.1.21. Details of a suspension bracket and engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

Engine mount details as a rule do not demand leaving, however, at detection of damage of support of the engine, or their aging, they should be replaced immediately.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. When checking it is necessary to raise the engine a little to unload support.
2. Lift the car and establish on supports, then place a support under the oil pallet of the engine. Lay between the pallet and a support a board lower the car a little.
3. Check existence on support of cracks, hardenings or peelings from a metal basis.
4. Check whether plates of support concerning the engine or a frame move (for this purpose shake support mount, or the big screw-driver). If movement is felt, then lower the engine and delay fastenings of support.
5. For delay of aging grease rubber details of support with the preserving means.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight, lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Turn off a nut of a through bolt of a support.
3. Raise the engine (a jack or a waist), get a bolt and remove a support.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down. Grease carvings of nuts and bolts with the fixing structure and reliably tighten.
